About this video: This video is our comprehensive guide on how to play Minecraft with friends on PC Java Edition. We cover everything from playing Minecraft Java with friends on a public server to creating your own private Minecraft server to even using a LAN world or mods to play Minecraft with your friends. Truly, there are tons of different ways to play multiplayer in Minecraft, and this video covers them all!
First things first, the easiest way to play Minecraft with your friends is on a public Minecraft server. There is a link in the description above to where you can find some public survival servers, but there are thousands of Minecraft servers out there that as long as you have the IP address for the server, you can join.
From skyblock to factions to bed wars, and any other Minecraft gamemode you can think of, there is one out there you can play on and invite your friends to in order to play Minecraft Java Edition with your friends. To play on these servers with your friends, you would both just join the server same server with the same IP. Then, you can play on that server together.
Another way to play Minecraft Java with your friends in 2024 is by making your own Minecraft server. This can be done on your own computer or by using a hosting company. There is a guide in the description above on how to make a Minecraft server on your own computer. This will give you full control over your server and allow you to play Minecraft with your friends in 2024.
The easiest way to make a private Minecraft server to play with your friends is using a hosting company. This will let you have an experience similar to a public server, but you will have full control over the server and can even play modded Minecraft with your friends.
Next up is using a LAN world to play Minecraft with your friends. This requires you and your friend to be on the same internet connection.
