Minecraft servers on both Bedrock and Java Edition are having a rough time in 2022. From Hypixel only averaging 40 thousand players, to The Hive barely averaging 10 thousand, something is wrong across all Minecraft servers currently. But what is it? In this video, I discuss why this is happening, and talk about factors like players going back to school, people losing interest in Minecraft, and Mojang not fixing bugs and glitches on both versions. I also discuss some reasons individual servers are dying, like The Hive, Hypixel, Mineplex, Cubecraft, and BrokenLens. All of this Minecraft Commentary, over some RTX cinematics and Minecraft server gameplay.
