Millennia is the newly announced Grand Strategy / 4X Civilization style Game from Paradox Interactive and C Prompt Games. With the Millennia game trailer just dropping, alongside many Millennia gameplay screenshots, I want to take some time today to share my experience with the game after quite a few hours of gameplay. There are some very interesting mechanics that we’ve not seen in Civilization or its competitors, and some unique approaches to history, often delving into the realms of sci-fi and fantasy. Keep in mind that all the gameplay screenshots and details you’ll be seeing and hearing about here today are from a very early build of the game and subject to change, but a lot of the core systems and mechanics are going to stay as integral parts of the gameplay loop and what players can expect.
